L’applicazione richiede come minimo OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).

Buona decodifica a tutti!

  1. Thank you so much for your work on these ports!
I’m using them with a softrock rxtx, haven’t figured out how to do rig control to the USB Control app yet, but it definitely all works.
    Donated.

  3. Thank you for the port. I’m trying to get this to work with a RTL USB dongle. I have replaced the ExtIO dll with the ExtIORTL.dll from the hardware page of HDSDR but I can’t find any rig number mentioned in your readme. The dongle is working, as I can receive using gqrgx. Also, running “ls /dev/tty.*” in terminal only brings up “/dev/tty.Bluetooth-Modem and /dev/tty.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync.

    1. Hi,
the readme file is a guide only for the ExtIO, but you are doing it right! Next step is to download and install the driver, more info here:

      http://www.hamradioscience.com/alternative-installation-procedure-for-rtl-sticks-and-hdsdr/

For install the driver: launch Wineskin, you find it inside the HDSDR package, click on install, choose the driver installer and complete the setup.
Let’s me know if you need more help or if it works!

      1. After plugging in my RTL dongle, when I launch Wineskin and click on install I then choose the zadig.exe When it starts I choose Options -> List All Devices but there are no entries. For some reason my dongle is not being recognized by zadig.I have also tried using different USB ports with the same results.

      2. Seems a comunication problem, probabily OSX dosen’t release the resource, sometime happen. Try to put in the dongle after starting zading. Have you tried to hit start in HDSDR to see if the signal come in?

  4. Thank you. I was sure I was missing something. I’ll try it when I get home from work.

  5. I’ve tried the following and I am still unable to get the dongle to be recognized:

    1. Restarted the computer after a 10 minute shutdown, to make sure everything was cleared from memory. Started zidag then inserted the dongle.

    2. Another shutdown and restart, I then tried starting HDSDR, still no luck.

    3. I copied the winusb.sys and winusb.dll from an install of Windows7 under Parallels into the corresponding directory in the HDSDR OSX package – RTL still not recognized.

    1. I had time to test it and… bad news. 🙁
I’ve got a lots of problems installing it under pure Windows: the dll dosen’t seems to works very well. Under Mac is a pain: I was able to make it work but keep crashing: max session 3 minutes…
I have to find another way 😉
